Aquamedic

I’m quite happy about the Aquamedic products but have recently discovered that they don’t spend any money at all extra on the products.

When i bought my 2x150W MH i got some noise problem, when i began to check the technic behind MH i discovered that the technic Aquamedic had chosen was the cheapest but also a technic that roughly always gives noise problems.

Now i have bought a T5 fixture, this one is also a Aquamedic product, I would like the ability to dim it by my IKS, but in this case they also made it as cheep as possible and don’t have a ballast which is dimmable.

This is not a big problem for me as i didn’t buy it new and for full price.

I have already ordered a dimming unit for my IKS and new dimmable ballasts, so i will soon be able to have real day simulation.

Addable is that i have tried to contact Aquamedic at several occasions which has resulted in ether no answer or an answer which was not help able, the last time was about the T5 fixture and have not received any answer at all.

I still think Aquamedics products are nice, but they should have a lot more technical information about them and a customers support that works.

Next time i think i will go for the Giesemann products……
