Garmin IQue M5
After the latest firmware update for the GPS, it works like a charm even wit third party programs, which it certainly earlier did not.
There is an standard for the language from the antenna which is called NMEA, but some large manufacturers creates their own antennas and does not use the standard language.
Garmin M5 has an software translator for the NMEA language to make it possible to use third party software, this works really bad before the update, the NMEA information had so long delay between the messages so the software thought it had lost contact with the antenna.
After the latest update it works so well that i cant imagine a better al round product, a bit expensive but it can do a lot.
